What courses are available?

Care Assessment Training Services (CATS) offers both full Apprenticeships and standalone NVQ/QCF awards at levels 2 and 3 in Health and Social Care, Business Administration, Management and Team Leading. Full assessor training and certification is given as workplace assessment is used throughout. This ensures an integrated and robust approach between the establishment, training provider and the candidate.

Will we get paid for employing an apprentice?

You may get a £1,500 apprenticeship grant if:

you employ less than 50 people.
your apprentice is aged 16 to 24
You can claim support for up to 5 apprentices.

It’s free for us too?

Most of the time, yes!

aged 16 to 18 – free

aged 19 to 24 – 50% of training cost

25 years and older – you may only get a contribution

Student loans are available for students who have to pay towards courses.
